This is the change log of the Firefox add-on Video Sub Player. Add-on can be found on Mozilla Add-on Library and the video player is found on Video sub Player. Help page for the add-on is found at Video Grabber

Version 1.0

Features

  • Capable of grabbing any videos from a video hosting site and redirect to the Video sub Player.

Known issues

  • Some video does not play due to cross domain restriction
  • Pseudo-streaming is not available
  • unrelated file types such as PDF are grabbed.

Version 1.01

Features

  • Cross domain restriction is solved any video can be played from the player
  • Pseudo-streaming is available for some video hosting providers
  • URL based subtitle matching is deployed
  • PDF grabber is fixed

Known issues

  • Pseudo-streaming is limited
